課程概述

This course is to teach students how to write a research paper in MLA style.
The text for study is Shakespeare’s As You Like It. Students will go through the writing process of a scholarly paper, e.g. from establishing a schedule, writing a topic outline and a proposal, through assembling items for a working bibliography, note taking, to writing the first draft, revision and the final version of the paper.

課程目標
The aim of this course is to train students to write good research paper in a proper academic style. As the text for study is Shakespeare’s As You Like It, students will benefit from their research in the library and on the internet, and learn Shakespearean scholarship as well. Oral reports will improve students’ skill in speech and debate as well.
